No Longer Above the (J) Law

Happy 4th of July from Blogandt! Me and the Mrs. had a nice drive to Red Bud here yesterday to celebrate......

HOLY CRAP JASON LAWRENCE GOT ARRESTED YESTERDAY!!!!!

That's the word from the track here on Saturday morning. Now he's out on bail, but the word is that the AMA isn't going to let him race, and he may be done with Yamaha of Troy as well.

We've all heard rumors like this before, so we'll see if the gate drops tomorrow without him.

Anyway, ironically, happy Independence Day!

Dungey said it right,Lawrence is an embarrassment to the sport,to his team and most of all his family. He deserves to be suspended for the rest of the season.
This is not the type of behavior you want young fans of the sport to be exposed to.

I predict this will be used by teams when deciding who to hire and how they write contracts. So much has been put into incentives for winning and whatnot. Now equal emphasis will be put on consequences for offenses whether a first or, in J-Law's case, final.

Did you read Ricky's recent comments about Lawrence? Basically said he'd annihilate him on the track at any given chance.

Oh well. YoT has Mike Brown back....

I would love to see Ricky annhilate Jason on the race track! Seriously, maybe a ten lap race where Ricky takes out Jason, stops and waits for him to get up. As soon as he gets up, he takes Jason out again. Keep doing that until they either get in a fist fight or the ten laps is over.

Everyone knows sombody like J-Law in there hometown, the local pro who in alot of cases was faster than the guy who actually "made it" but put partying before racing. Jason just sliped through the cracks. Most people give second chances, but when the guy you give second chances to over and over again, still blows it, you just dont feel sorry for him. Weather its Motocross or Bowling or Chess pepole eventually get tired of being pooped on by disrespectable douche bags. In about ten years (while flipping burgers) J Law will look back and think about what could have been and kick himself in the ass everytime he looks in the mirror.

A few minutes ago I read about Sean Hamblin dislocating a shoulder after scrubbing LaRocco's Leap. All he wants to do is get back on the bike and race. He was quoted as saying he doesn't have an option NOT to race. The guy knows what it's like to be on the other side of the fence.

Then you have the Jason Lawrences who take for granted their health and unique ability to ride a motorcycle. He/they piss it away.

It's a pity that ability is wasted on the Jason Lawrences and not "given" to the Sean Hamblins and others who give everything for the chance to race at the highest level.
